Can We Use The Existing Curb

As A Foundation For My Shed?

It would be great to use an existing curb for a foundation for a new shed but it is not likely to be suggested. There are many reasons why the existing curb is not a good idea for the foundation.

  • It is not deep enough?
  • There is no rebar in it.
  • It may not be level.
  • There are no bolts in the curb.
  • The curb may not match your needs in the shed.

Can I use the existing curb for a foundation for my shed? Probably not a good idea.

Yeah, but who doesn't want a shed with a park bench looking inside?
